SUPER SAP EPOXY TECHNOLOGY
After years of development, our bio-derived epoxy systems deliver on the promise of sustainability + performance. These pine-based epoxies reduce petroleum content by up to 70% and replace it with a sustainably harvested resource. In its production, it consumes less energy and water than standard petroleum based epoxies, while also reducing the amount of harmful byproducts such as chlorinated hydrcarbons. As opposed to crude oil refining processes, the closed loop distillation processes of our bio-mass sources reduce wastes and greenhouse gas emissions. And if that were not enough all our bio-mass sources come from industrial waste streams and do not compete with food sources.

Sustainable Performance. No Sacrifices.
The goal here was simple: to build a true high-performance surfboard that maximizes the use of sustainable resources in its construction. We start with bio-based foam or recyclable blanks, while natural fibers and glass provide a durable lamination with unique flex and feel. As for the epoxy resin, it's made from renewable plant-based sources and tougher than industry standard epoxy resins. The finished product has the performance and durability advantages of it's petroleum-based counterparts, with up to a 70% reduction in petroleum-based materials.
Construction
All of our boards are 100% built in California. They’re designed and pre-shaped on a computer, resulting in a precision surfboard that can be readily duplicated or modified within millimeters. Vacuum-bag lamination ensures the lightest and strongest possible bond between foam and a natural fiber deck inlay. Finally, hand lamination and sanding by professional surfing craftsmen in Southern California ensures a showroom finish.
